Koru Kayaking were pleased to be supporting British Divers Marine Life Rescue today in their raffle. The group were hosting an open day in Perranporth sharing information on how to protect our wildlife and what they do. The British Divers Marine Life Rescue is a voluntary network of trained marine mammal medics who respond to call outs all year round. They are registered charity entirely reliant on donations and volunteers prepared to train up and become marking mammal medics. The group operate nationwide with equipment situated throughout the country. BMLR said: "We have a wide range of equipment strategically placed throughout the country to deal with strandings of marine animals, oil spills, fishing gear entanglement and in fact any type of marine animal in trouble."
