Frenchman’s Creek is a peaceful and magical inlet off the Helford River Out kayak adventures start with a magical
walk down through the Budock Vean Hotel gardens to launch from their private beach.
Kayaking past sailing boats and banks of ancient oak forest we paddle across the Helford River to Frenchman’s Creek,
where fallen trees, shipwrecks and secluded beaches inspired Daphne de Maurier’s novel ‘Frenchman’s Creek’ and
Kylie Minogue’s pop video ‘Flower’ as reported in Koru’s blog. Herons, egrets and kingfishers can been spotted too.
