Koru Kayaking’s Hetty Wildblood nee Henrietta Grande has been able able to order a pint of the same name at her local the Driftwood Spars, St Agnes.
The West Briton picked up on the story of how she was tagged on facebook and local Councillor Pete Mitchell managed to source Henrietta Grande beer from the Nottinghamshire brewery, Welbeck Abbey Brewery, and bring it down to the Driftwood Spars. Landlady Louise Treseder kindly put it on tap and so you buy a pint of it!
The brewery are even thinking of making a Henrietta Wildblood ale now too according to Pete!
Hetty said “I am really chuffed the ale was lovely and light. I am usually a dry white drinker but after tasting this I could be converted!”
Driftwood Spars are based just up from Trevaunance Cove where Koru operate their North Coast Guided Kayak Adventures.
