Autumn is a stunning time of year for kayaking in Cornwall and perhaps this year will be even special as we enjoy the outdoors and the Cornish fresh air. We will be keeping our reduced groups sizes of up to 6 spaces and usual lots of antibacterial solution to keep everything clean.

Autumn is also a great time for wildlife spotting. Kingfishers are in abundance as they fly along the water’s surface, their cobalt blue and bright orange wings mirroring the autumnal colours, their cobalt blue and bright orange wings mirroring the autumnal colours. Herons and Little Egrets are also in abundance in the creeks, the egrets with the their bright white feathers like lanterns in the trees.

The North Coast an also be thriving with wildlife in peak Seal pupping season, we have to be careful during this season to keep our distance from any mother and pups, but it a great time to see lots of Atlantic Grey seals!

And of course the cliffs and caves with their oxidised bright green copper and iron ore are always a stunning sight to see!
