Guided Helford SUP Adventure
Koru is pleased to announce the launch of The Helford Guided SUP Adventure launching from the private foreshore of the Budock Vean Hotel. The 2 hour experience with our qualified guides will be tailored to your ability and weather conditions and we provide all the equipment including wetsuits and booties if you don't have your own.
For beginners...
For beginners we have the sheltered Port Navas Creek which is steeped in amazing history with beautiful river fronted houses and magical wooded smaller creeks. Tuition starts on dry land where our guides will go through basic techniques and then on the water we will get you kneeling and then onto your feet.
THE HELFORD SUP ADVENTURE
For more experienced customers...
Depending on tides and wind direction we will either take you to the famous Frenchman's Creek where our guides will tell you about the history, heritage and wildlife or towards Durgan where you can experience secluded beaches and see the beautiful water fronted villages and the award winning Trebah Gardens. On nice days there will be the opportunity to swim off secluded beaches.
The Famous 5 SUP Competition
To celebrate the launch of Koru SUP Adventures (stand-up paddle boarding for the uninitiated) we’re running a joint competition to win a SUP trip for 5 people to try this fun sport and a truly amazing way to explore the tree lined creeks and secret spots, followed by lunch back at the hotel as no doubt you’ll have worked up quite the appetite!
