John from The Cornwall Guide met us at Trevaunance Cove this morning but due to high on shore winds and pretty big swell we moved the tour to Frenchmans Creek. We arrived to a spring low tide so enjoyed the lovely gardens at Budock Vean Hotel and had coffees and hot chocolates while the waters in the Helford River rose. Once on the water we had a lovely day and with lots of swans and had the creek to ourselves. Came back to Trevaunance Cove to drop off John and enjoyed a spring high tide with a big on shore. Glad we moved the adventure to the South.
